When paying ExtraVM with a debit or credit card, your transaction may be blocked if it doesn't pass out fraud prevention filters. We have many fraud prevention filters in place for card transactions due to the higher risk to our business.
If your card payment is blocked the transaction will not post to your statement and will disappear after a day or two.
If your card payment is blocked and you want to get past this, make sure of the following:
- The billing address you entered while ordering matches the billing address on your card or bank, set by you on your bank account or credit card account. Your street and postal code must match.
- The CVV (3 or 4 digit code) matches the numbers on your card.
- Your card issuer must support AVS (Address Verification Service). If we are unable to verify your card address the payment will not go through.
These rules apply when paying with a debit or credit card directly on our website, or if you're paying with a card using a PayPal account. Due to the high risk of fraud in the hosting industry with chargebacks and card fraud, these requirements are needed to protect our business and consumers.
