We block the following ports on our VPS. You can contact us to request ports be unblocked.

  • 25/tcp, 465/tcp, 587/tcp (dst port - outgoing) - All mail ports are blocked by default. This is to protect our network and IP reputation from email spammers, or compromised servers that may send out spam. If you run a legitimate mail server you can contact us to request this port block to be removed.
  • 53/udp (dst port - incoming) - The port for incoming DNS traffic is blocked by default. This is to protect our network from being used for reflection attacks. If you run your own public DNS server please contact us with information to have this block potentially removed. This does not prevent servers from using public DNS resolvers.
