ExtraVM allows customers to install Windows operating system on their VPS, however we do not provide licensing for Windows and do not provide technical support or troubleshooting for problems related to the Windows operating system. You are expected to have good knowledge of installing, configuring, and securing a remote Windows server.

In most of our locations we provide multiple Windows ISOs for customers to manually install from.
- Windows Server 2022 - Windows Server 2022 ISO. This ISO is the retail Microsoft ISO, and includes Virtio drivers packed inside the ISO.
- Windows Server 2016 - Windows Server 2016 ISO. This ISO is the retail Microsoft ISO, and includes Virtio drivers packed inside the ISO.
- Windows 11 English - Windows 11 English ISO. This ISO is the retail Microsoft ISO, and includes Virtio drivers packed inside the ISO.
- Virtio-win - Virtio drivers for Windows OS.
We generally do not provide images for very old, end-of-life operating systems for security reasons, whether it be Windows Server 2008 or end-of-life Linux operating systems. If you use these and want these, we recommend looking into getting your services to work on a supported operating system instead.
