We highly recommend enabling the whitelist on your Minecraft server if you run a private server. If it is not enabled, anyone can connect to your servers IP/port which is public. Enabling the whitelist can prevent random people from joining and griefing your server.
Login to the Multicraft control panel and navigate to your server...
- Go to the Console in the left sidebar on your server page.
- Enter the console command "
whitelist on
" and press enter. Remember, commands entered into the web console do not need a / in front of them as it's automatically added. - Now run "
whitelist add PLAYER_NAME
", replacing PLAYER_NAME with your Minecraft in-game name. Do this for every person you want added. - You can run "
whitelist list
" to list all players currently on your whitelist.
