Can I use my own domain name?
Yes! You can use any domain name you own. Simply update your domain's MX records to point to our email servers, and we'll guide you through the process during setup.
What email clients are supported?
All major email clients are supported including Microsoft Outlook, Apple Mail, Mozilla Thunderbird, and mobile apps on iOS and Android. You can also access email via our SOGo webmail interface from any browser without installing software. We personally recommend the
Spark email client.
Where are the email servers located?
Email data is stored in our Los Angeles, California, USA datacenter. Businesses can use our Single-Tenant email server plan and choose to host their email data any of our locations, including USA, Europe, Singapore, Japan, or Australia.
Is spam filtering included?
Yes, all plans include advanced spam and virus filtering to keep your inbox clean and secure. You can also customize filter settings through the control panel to adjust sensitivity levels.
Are there any sending limits?
Personal email plans are limited to 250 outgoing emails per hour for your domain, this mean all email accounts under your domain are counted towards the hourly limit. Business email plans have an outgoing email limit of 500 emails per hour per mailbox, with no combined domain limits. Single-Tenant business plans have no limits. Please note that our email services are intended for common personal use, and not for automated transactional mailing purposes.
Can I migrate from my current email provider?
Absolutely! We have an automated email migration tool that will let you copy your existing emails from your old mailbox directly into your new email account here.
What's the difference between IMAP and POP3?
IMAP synchronizes your email across all devices and keeps messages on the server, while POP3 downloads emails to a single device. We recommend IMAP for most users as it provides the best multi-device experience and keeps your email accessible from anywhere.
Is my email data backed up?
We perform weekly backups of our systems used for email hosting for disaster recovery purposes. If you hold important emails we recommened storing copies of it locally on your device. You can use POP3 connection settings to have your email client download your emails locally.
What is Single-Tenant email hosting?
Single-Tenant hosting provides you with your own isolated email server and dedicated IP address. This is ideal for businesses that require enhanced security, compliance requirements, or need to maintain complete control over their email infrastructure. It offers better deliverability and allows for custom configurations.
